Glædelig jul og godt nytår. 🎄🎊
Following my prior post on how to use LibGen (Library Genesis) and Scihub, here's a new post on the most recent tool in the box: Anna's Archive (https://annas-archive.org/). AA is a unified approach to finding the paper or book you need. Simply type in the name or the DOI and find what you seek. As a bonus, it's still unblocked in most countries, so you don't have to bother with VPNs, for now at least.
Here's an example for a book I'm currently reading, The Gene's-Eye View of Evolution:
What does Anna's archive offer that SciHub + libgen don't already offer?
I read the Wikipedia article for Anna's archive (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anna%27s_Archive). And as far as I can tell, it's main use case is "to be a backup of the Library Genesis, Sci-Hub and Z-Library shadow libraries." This is an important function obviously, but doesn't seem to be too useful when I'm performing day-to-day research?
Også glædelig Jul og Godt Nytår til dig, Emil.
- I Have been using Anna's for more that a year at least since Z-Lib more or less got nuked on various sites. Generally happy with the service.
