Is all of this research just related to net *fiscal* effects? I can't read non-english, so I can't tell if you took economic growth effects into consideration at all, which is obviously an important factor and could explain economists support for German immigration.
Again, this may just be my laziness in translating stuff, but if you are interpreting "economic benefits" solely as "public finance benefits", then you are not on the same page as me nor the economists who are answering that survey question
