Isn't it surprising that the Chinese don't seem to do better than the British on those final charts when they're usually thought to have higher IQs than whites? Also the quite poor correlation for crime and economic inactivity.
I think theory-based driving tests, while perhaps a good, non-specialized indicator of IQ, does not really predict actual driving performance. In my experience, some people I know with high IQs do not drive well, perhaps because of over-thinking and a lack of assertiveness. I believe a good amount of Asians fit this description as well, even though the people I know that I mentioned are not Asian.
Is it true that Indian-born British Indians have an average IQ of 86 while British-born British Indians have an average IQ of 96? At least, I seem to recall reading that in one of the papers that I think that John Fuerst was involved in. I can try finding it if you want.
But it’s interesting: India is a dump, but Indians often perform fairly well elsewhere. Even in Africa and Fiji. Even when they come to those places as laborers, their descendants tend to perform much better than the natives over there do. Maybe Indians have a genetic average IQ ceiling of around 95, though possibly with great caste variation?
"Is it true that Indian-born British Indians have an average IQ of 86 while British-born British Indians have an average IQ of 96?"
Indian immigrants to Britain are selected by their ability to advance civilization. This means a higher IQ than other immigrant want-to-be. The reason there is anyone in India with an advanced IQ is that there are over one billion of them. That is pure statistics.
But the Indians in Africa and Fiji were laborers when they arrived and yet their descendants are the dominant commercial class over there (other than whites and Jews), no?

I am not knowledgeable about that, but I would imagine that it has to do with the group's IQ level.
Indians are quite talented, whether in Fiji, the Caribbean (other than perhaps in Guyana), East Africa, Singapore, or the West. There’s obviously some selection going on here, but AFAIK, some of the Indians who moved to some of these places were initially coolie labor. Yet their descendants still achieved a lot.
This suggests that India’s IQ might be seriously depressed by environmental factors.
Can information about residence times in the UK be attached to these results? I presume not, but if yes they could help tease out environmental (nutrition, vitamin D, acculturation) effects from genetic origins.
As you can see, these are based on summary statistics usually provided by the government due to freedom of information act requests. So no, they do not provide case-level data (that's illegal) and one cannot subset the data any further.
Hey I saw a study saying that hereditarianism is a pseudoscience could you respond to this https://vdare.com/posts/blueprint-how-dna-makes-us-who-we-are-by-robert-plomin
You link to a 2018 post by Sailer, who already replies to Nathaniel Comfort? I don't see anything worth replying to.
Emil, thanks for an interesting approach to evaluating cognitive ability differentials between ethnic/racial groups.
Appreciate the post, enjoyed reading through. Have a good one.

Very interesting! Nice job!

Indian IQ almost certainly varies by caste and jati.

Yeah, that’s my point. At least some Indian groups have significant IQ potential, I would think.
Agreed.
Britain’s Indians appear to be a mix of well-educated and poorly-educated, actually:

I've seen the same with Indo Caribbeans, particularly, Indo Trinidadians. They consistently dominate the O/A level merit lists.
